Lemon Brownies

These bars are called Lemon Brownies because they have the thick and fudgy texture of a brownie! They are made with white chocolate and are full of citrus flavor!

I love baked goods (no surprise there). Every recipe I post, I truly love – otherwise, I wouldn’t share them with you. But I definitely play favorites. And these Lemon Brownies are one of the best things I have ever made. I can’t believe I am saying that about a recipe that does not include chocolate or peanut butter, but it is true. I love, love LOVE these lemon brownies. I literally could not stop eating them. I never considered myself a lemon dessert person, but I guess I am!! TheBetterHalf’s love for lemon must be rubbing off on me.

Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Bacon

My ultimate grilled cheese is a Grilled Cheese with Tomato and Bacon on brioche bread, using a blend of two cheeses. Easy and delicious comfort food!

Today is National Grilled Cheese Day! This is a holiday I did not know existed until I started food blogging. How did I live my life before without celebrating these food holidays? I’m not sure, but I’m making up for lost time now by bringing you my version of the Ultimate Grilled Cheese….with tomato and bacon on brioche bread, made with two different types of Kerrygold cheeses!

My favorite type of grilled cheese has always been with tomato and bacon. There is something about that combo that is just so amazing. And the best bread for this sandwich is a nice buttery brioche. It really takes it to the next level!

Easter falling this early really put a damper on my Easter baking plans! Last year I made lots of fun Easter treats for you but this year I only had a chance to make one. So I figured if I was only making one, it better be good! I turned my favorite dessert (brownies!) into mini Easter Brownie Nests! Spring Cleaning with OXO

Even though it doesn’t feel like spring outside, I have been hit with spring cleaning fever! I spent this past weekend cleaning and organizing our apartment. And specifically, our kitchen.

The one part about food blogging that I do not love is all the cleaning. Creating delicious recipes is so much fun, but pretty much every weekend, our kitchen looks like a bomb went off in it. This past weekend, I think I used literally every single bowl, measuring cup, spatula, and random kitchen tool that we have, all in the span of two hours.

Lucky for me, the nice people at OXO have my back. They sent me an awesome kitchen cleaning kit to get me started on spring cleaning, and to give me a little help with the constant battle that I have with my dirty dishes.

Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk Potato Chip Cookies

I put potato chips in a cookie and I loved it! Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk Potato Chip Cookies are the ultimate sweet and salty cookie – they are addicting!

It is time for another round of Mystery Dish! I took a few months off from this fun challenge, but I am back! Every month a group of my blog friends and I choose a list of ingredients, and we each have to come up with a recipe using some of the mystery ingredients. It is so much fun to come up with new recipes, and it always challenges me to step out of my comfort zone a bit in the kitchen. Which leads me to….

Potato Chip Cookies…yes, I put potato chips in my cookies. I really thought that I would never put potato chips in my cookies. I know that it has been done many times before, but to me it seems so, well, weird. But, Mystery Dish made me do it. I had no choice. Potato chips were on the list this month along with chocolate chunks and almond butter and I just knew that I had to make almond butter chocolate chunk potato chip cookies. And I am so glad that Mystery Dish lead me to this cookie creation, because these cookies are so good! I still think potato chip cookies are kind of weird, but I can get over it because they taste delicious!
