This holiday is celebrated in many European countries, and in the US it is celebrated in cities with a strong German influence – like St. Louis! Growing up we always celebrated St. Nick’s Day at school and at home.

Can you believe it is the Fourth of July next week??  Summer is here in full force! I have been thinking about making these cute lil Red, White, and Blue Smoothie for months now, and then all of a sudden the time to make them was here!  I love making smoothies in the summer, and one ingredient that is always in my recipes is Chobani Greek Yogurt. And if you’re a yogurt fanatic like me, you are going to pretty excited when I tell you this….

You knew I couldn’t let a holiday pass without making a donut for it, right?? Especially a holiday like Easter, when brunch is the star of the show. And what would a good Easter brunch be without some donuts?! I’ve seen so many Easter goodies on Pinterest lately that look like bird nests and Easter baskets. They are seriously so adorable!  I clearly needed to get in on the cuteness action, so I made a baked coconut donut and decorated it to look like a nest.
