Over Memorial Day Weekend, Cate and I ventured out to the great Pacific Northwest to spend some time in Seattle. It was our first time in this area of the country and we really enjoyed our time in this beautiful city on the water. To mix things up, instead of writing a full narrative I’m just going to list 20 impressions about Seattle (feel free to let me know what I got wrong in the comments). This Grapefruit Tequila Cocktail with Chocolate Bitters, modeled after a drink at the popular Seattle bar Sun Liquor, is the perfect combo of sweet and tart.
It is an absolutely gorgeous day here in NYC! Sunny, 75, just a few puffy white clouds in the blue sky – perfect! It rained about every day this week, including an absolute monsoon last night, so we are ready for some sunshine. And chez CateyLou, beautiful weekend days mean rooftop cocktails! One of the perks of NYC living:) So today I have a Grapefruit Tequila Cocktail with Chocolate Bitters for you.
Yes, chocolate bitters!! Perhaps my new favorite cocktail ingredient.
