Happy Saturday! I love waking up on Saturday mornings and baking something for breakfast. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and if you haven’t noticed, I really like baking breakfast food! Today we are having Cherry Almond Muffins! The cherries are so beautiful and so delicious right now – I bought a huge bag the other day and couldn’t wait to bake them into a muffin.

These flourless chocolate peanut butter cookies have a brownie-like texture. They are so soft and chewy, and are full of delicious peanut butter flavor!

Is there anything worse than a peanut butter cookie that doesn’t taste very peanut butter-y? I’m constantly disappointed by PB cookies at bakeries. Far too often, they just lack that delicious nutty flavor. Well today’s recipe solves that problem completely! These flourless chocolate peanut butter cookies are so full of flavor! Apparently taking out flour and butter is the key to having the peanut butter flavor shine. And as an added bonus, the texture is so soft and chewy, almost exactly like a brownie. Plus, they are Gluten Free!

Chocolate Bundt Cake

Chocolate Bundt Cake is so rich and moist thanks to sour cream in the batter. A gorgeous and delicious chocolate cake!

Did everyone have a good holiday weekend? It was nice to have a day off work but I must say, my weekend was not so great. TheBetterHalf and I were supposed to go visit my family in St. Louis. After an hour delay and 2 hours sitting on the plane at LaGuardia, AA canceled our flight! They were unable to re-book us, so we had to cancel our whole trip. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper.

So I made a cake to cheer myself up! Who wouldn’t smile at a nice, rich chocolate bundt cake! Just smelling this in the oven made my weekend start to look up immediately.

We are coming up on a holiday – July 4th! And it wouldn’t be a holiday Chez CateyLou without a festive donut recipe!! It has kind of become my thing. I celebrate holidays by creating donuts. Christmas. Valentine’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day. Easter. And now, American Flag Donuts for July 4th!!

Remember this blackberry cinnamon roll cake? It was one of my all time favorite things that I have ever made. So easy, so delicious, so impressive – it is literally the perfect breakfast recipe! So I decided to change it up a bit and make a peach pecan version! I am such a huge fan of peaches – they are my favorite thing to eat in the summer (ok, other than ice cream!) – and I really like the flavor of peaches with cinnamon. I combined the flavors in my Peach Yogurt Bread and it is one of the top recipes on my site! Speaking of yogurt, did you enter to win FREE Chobani yet??

Move aside, blackberry cinnamon roll cake – I think I have found a new favorite!
