Guinness Chocolate Donuts with Baileys Icing
Boozy breakfast at its finest – Guinness Chocolate Donuts with Baileys Icing are the perfect treat for St. Patrick’s Day brunch!
Two Guinness posts in a row…it must mean that St. Patrick’s Day is almost here! Or that Guinness was on sale at the market. Or both 🙂 TheBetterHalf and I are both Irish and we went to Notre Dame, so we are big fans of St. Patrick’s Day. What’s not to love about a holiday that allows you to have both Guinness and Baileys for breakfast?
These Guinness Chocolate Donuts are similar to the donuts I made last year, but I changed up the icing to a Baileys chocolate ganache icing. It is SO good!!

Double Chocolate Guinness Cookies
These Double Chocolate Guinness Cookies are the perfect treat for St. Patrick’s Day or any time of year. Guinness is a perfect complement to chocolate!
St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! Are you ready with your Guinness / Bailey’s / Jameson / Corned Beef / Cabbage recipes? Ok maybe not all of those things together, that might be gross. If you are still deciding what to make, I have a great Guinness recipe for you…Double Chocolate Guinness Cookies! This is my first cookie recipe using beer, and I am a big fan. Guinness cookies are definitely going to be making an appearance more regularly in my kitchen, especially around St. Patty’s Day!

Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Bars
A cakey cookie base is topped with pb cups, cheesecake filling, and topped with pb chips and chocolate! These Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Bars are easy to make and addicting!
I can’t even begin to tell you how many of my recipes are a result of trying to use up an ingredient in my fridge. I HATE wasting food, but I’m constantly buying something for a recipe and then only using part of it.
Ex: milk. I will buy milk to make muffins, and then I have an entire carton to use up! (TheBetterHalf and I both hate to drink milk).
So this recipe came about because I had exactly 5 oz of cream cheese to use up! And I conveniently had 3 king size packs of Reese’s peanut butter cups (I can’t resist things that are on sale). And thus, Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake Bars were born!

Le Meurice – Paris
Le Dalí restaurant, overseen by Alain Ducasse, is the perfect spot for a delicious lunch in Paris. It is in Le Meurice, a gorgeous hotel located in the 1st arrondissement.
Paris is full of amazing 5 star hotels. It seems that everywhere you turn, there is a gorgeous hotel full of history. And one of the best is Le Meurice.
You can’t beat the location of Le Meurice. It is in the heart of Paris in the first arrondissement right across the street from the Tuileries Garden – which means it is just a stone’s throw from the Place Vendome and the Louvre. Le Meurice dates back to 1771, but was redesigned by Philippe Starck in 2007. The famed designer added a great modern chic aesthetic while still keeping some of the 18th century opulence. It is one of the most elegant hotels in the world, and is frequented by celebrities. In fact, it was featured in a Jay-Z and Kayne West song, the title of which may be too hot for little ol’ ChezCateyLou (…Le Meurice for like 6 days, gold bottles, scold models, spilling Ace of my sick J’s…).
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms look amazing and I hope I get to stay there someday, but it is a bit out of our price range right now! However even if it isn’t in the cards for you either, you can still experience the glam and luxury of Le Meurice with a fine dining experience at Alain Ducasse, a delicious meal at Le Dalí , or a sophisticated yet cozy drink at Bar 228.
