Happy Friday!!! And welcome to the final day of PUMPKIN WEEK! I hope you enjoyed all the pumpkin goodness this week – I know that I sure enjoyed eating all of it! If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a round-up of all the pumpkin recipes in case you missed any.

I saved the best for last…Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting!! Pumpkin adds so much flavor and a beautiful color to the light and fluffy buttermilk dough. Pumpkin pie spice mixed with cinnamon gives the filling a distinct pumpkin-y flavor. And cream cheese frosting tops it all off. These rolls are absolutely delicious and could not be prettier. This is what I call a showstopper of a fall breakfast!

This is the perfect thing to whip up if you want your breakfast to be special, but just don’t have the time to turn on the oven or make something complex. We are halfway through PUMPKIN WEEK! So far we have Pumpkin Donuts and Pumpkin Waffles. Today, I am lightening things up a bit with Skinny Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. I love trying to make baked goods skinnier when I can, especially when you can barely tell the difference! This bread is super moist and is full of great flavor, but has very little fat. Pumpkin Donuts with Chocolate Icing

So you might have noticed it is October and I have not posted any pumpkin recipes yet (ok this beer cheese was made with pumpkin beer, but no actual pumpkin). And that is because I was saving up for this…I have declared this week PUMPKIN WEEK. Yep that’s right, I made up my own food holiday week.

As you might remember from last year, I loooove pumpkin. The second the temperature starts to drop and the leaves start to change, all I want to eat is pumpkin everything, all the time. And so I decided to share my pumpkin love with you and bring you 5 days of pumpkin recipes.

And I figured the best way to kick off PUMPKIN WEEK is with donuts! Because I love making baked donuts almost as much as I love pumpkin. And I also wanted a reason to use these cute fall sprinkles. So for my first recipe of the week, I bring you Baked Pumpkin Donuts with Chocolate Icing.
