I am an extremely organized person. Schedules and to-do lists and calendars: I love all of them. But when it comes to keeping my cabinets organized…well that, I am not quite as good at. I like to make excuses and blame the fact that I don’t have enough space in my small apartment for everything, but I know that my pantry could be a lot more organized. And that is why I was eager to accept OXO’s #POPtober Challenge!

OXO kindly sent me an assortment of their POP Containers to use to organize my pantry. What a fun project! No really, I enjoy things like this a lot. I took literally every single thing out of my cabinets and reorganized all of it.

Happy Friday!!! And welcome to the final day of PUMPKIN WEEK! I hope you enjoyed all the pumpkin goodness this week – I know that I sure enjoyed eating all of it!  If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a round-up of all the pumpkin recipes in case you missed any.

I saved the best for last…Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting!!  Pumpkin adds so much flavor and a beautiful color to the light and fluffy buttermilk dough.  Pumpkin pie spice mixed with cinnamon gives the filling a distinct pumpkin-y flavor.  And cream cheese frosting tops it all off. These rolls are absolutely delicious and could not be prettier.  This is what I call a showstopper of a fall breakfast!

We are halfway through PUMPKIN WEEK! So far we have Pumpkin Donuts and Pumpkin Waffles. Today, I am lightening things up a bit with Skinny Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. I love trying to make baked goods skinnier when I can, especially when you can barely tell the difference! This bread is super moist and is full of great flavor, but has very little fat. Meet Martha Stewart at Macy’s in NYC on 9/23!

To all of my NYC friends – what are you doing Sept. 23 at 6pm? Hopefully you are joining me at Macy’s to meet Martha Stewart! Martha will be hosting a special book signing of her fabulous new cookbook, One Pot. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book – it is full of over 120 recipes, all using only one pot! These are just the kinds of recipes I love after a busy day.

Fun Fact: Martha Stewart was my very first celeb sighting when I moved to NYC 7 years ago! I was at a dinner at Scalinatella and she was having dinner at the next table!  I was quite excited about it :) .
