Thanksgiving is quickly approaching – do you have your menu all planned? Dinner is obviously the star of the show on Thanksgiving, but what about breakfast? No one talks about what to serve for breakfast on Thanksgiving! Well, I am going to change that – after all, you have to eat something in the morning to prepare your stomach for all the goodness that is to come later in the day. So it might as well be a festive and seasonal treat – like my Orange Pecan Cranberry Muffins! They are full of fall flavors and are absolutely delicious. Plus you can make them the day before and just reheat them before you serve, making this a quick and easy Thanksgiving breakfast.

Pumpkin in February? You must think I’m crazy.  But why must pumpkin recipes only be posted in October and November?  Pumpkin is so delicious!!  I bake with it year round and I loved these pumpkin donut holes so much that I just had to share them with you!  So yes, pumpkin in February is happening and I couldn’t be happier!

Happy Friday!!! And welcome to the final day of PUMPKIN WEEK! I hope you enjoyed all the pumpkin goodness this week – I know that I sure enjoyed eating all of it!  If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, there is a round-up of all the pumpkin recipes in case you missed any.

I saved the best for last…Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting!!  Pumpkin adds so much flavor and a beautiful color to the light and fluffy buttermilk dough.  Pumpkin pie spice mixed with cinnamon gives the filling a distinct pumpkin-y flavor.  And cream cheese frosting tops it all off. These rolls are absolutely delicious and could not be prettier.  This is what I call a showstopper of a fall breakfast!

Welcome to day 4 of PUMPKIN WEEK! In case you missed my other posts, I have dedicated this week to all pumpkin recipes. Donuts and waffles and skinny bread – I can’t get enough pumpkin!

Today I’m taking a break from baking and making something super easy – Pumpkin Cream Cheese! This is the perfect thing to whip up if you want your breakfast to be special, but just don’t have the time to turn on the oven or make something complex. A little Pumpkin Cream Cheese on a store bought bagel is a great option for a fall breakfast treat that is delicious and impressive, but super easy!
