Bok from Dubrovnik! That means “hi” in Croatian! TheBetterHalf and I arrived in Dubrovnik yesterday, after eating and drinking our way through Italy. We are absolutely loving Croatia so far. This is my current view…I wish I could write every blog post with this view! Talk about inspiring.

Orange Chocolate Chip Yogurt Muffins

Orange Chocolate Chip Yogurt Muffins are so moist thanks to a cup of Greek yogurt in the batter! The citrus flavor tastes amazing with the chocolate!

I think I might have spoiled TheBetterHalf with all of the baking I do. Let me explain…we almost always have something for him to bring to work for breakfast. I package up muffins and breads and donuts in packs of two and pop them in the freezer so that he can grab one each morning on his way out the door. However I haven’t been baking as much recently and was out of town last weekend, so our frozen baked good reserves are totally depleted! He was actually complaining (jokingly, of course) that he had nothing to bring for breakfast!! Spoiled. So spoiled. I kindly reminded him that there are markets / bodegas / coffee shops on nearly every corner in NYC and that they all have a lovely selection of breakfast items. But it did lead me to make some muffins this past weekend to keep him happy – Orange Chocolate Chip Yogurt Muffins! And I’m really not complaining – I love having someone enjoy my baked goods! …

Pumpkin Donut Holes

Baked Pumpkin Donut Holes can be made in a donut hole pan or a mini muffin tin. They are cute, delicious, and absolutely addicting – plus they are simple to make!

Pumpkin in February? You must think I’m crazy. But why must pumpkin recipes only be posted in October and November? Pumpkin is so delicious!! I bake with it year round and I loved these pumpkin donut holes so much that I just had to share them with you! So yes, pumpkin in February is happening and I couldn’t be happier!

Sweet and floral Meyer lemons are the star of the show in these Meyer Lemon Mini Muffins. Greek yogurt keeps them so light and moist – they are delicious!

Meyer Lemon – up until recently I didn’t really know what this fruit was. I had heard of them and seen them on many restaurant menus, but I had never actually researched meyer lemons or bought them. And then I saw a bag of the gorgeous things at Trader Joes the other day and all of that changed. I am now obsessed with Meyer Lemons, and in particular with these meyer lemon mini muffins!
