Mmmm pasta. Is there a better, more comforting meal than a giant bowl of pasta? I really don’t think so. And one of my favorite toppings for pasta is a delicious vodka sauce. It is so rich and creamy and flavorful, and is surprisingly easy to prepare. In just about 20 minutes, you can have pasta with homemade vodka sauce on the table. What a great option for an impressive weeknight meal.

I may not be from the south, but I love a good biscuit! Every time I see a biscuit on a menu, I just have to order it. There is something about biscuits that are so comforting and delicious.

There are so many recipes and methods for making biscuits. It is amazing that a food that seems so simple could actually be so complex. I have made many varieties of biscuits, but I think that this recipe for cream cheese biscuits might be my new favorite. They are so amazingly light and fluffy, and have a delicious rich flavor from the combo of the butter and cream cheese.

Whoa, how is the summer almost over?  Some of my blogging friends have already started posting pumpkin recipes!  I’m not complaining – pumpkin is my second love (after peanut butter) and I bake with it year round.  But I have so many summer recipes I still want to make before the summer ends.   Things with corn and tomatoes and berries and peaches and zucchini… I have a lot of baking to do between now and Sept 1 🙂

Ok I know what you’re thinking right now – Broccoli? But what about the donuts and cookies and chocolate peanut butter anything? Don’t worry, they are coming soon (I may or may not have made these last night…). But I just HAD to tell you about this broccoli. Why?

Because it is the absolute best broccoli I have ever had. In fact, it is the best veggie I have ever had – at a restaurant or in my own kitchen. I’m not exaggerating. This stuff is amazing. It even converted TheBetterHalf into a broccoli lover, and he had previously not been a fan of the healthy green vegetable. Plus it is so simple to make – there are only 5 ingredients, and that is counting salt and pepper!…
